When I was a little girl, after realizing I hated the math that was required to be a doctor, I became captivated with the idea of being a "news lady." I grew up watching the CBS Affiliate in my hometown of Boston, Massachusetts, and dreamed of becoming like the popular female anchor, Lisa Hughes. As I grew older, journalists like Lisa Lang and Barbara Walter continued to inspire me. Barbara was actually a part of my decision to apply to and ultimately attend Sarah Lawrence College. My drive at the time wasn't necessarily journalism, but storytelling. I loved writing and wanted to use mine to tell stories that made an impact.
Below is a sampling of my published work spanning from my first ever blog post on The White House website, to my time as a Nationally Syndicated reporter for Sinclair Broadcast Group, to my current writing as a Communications Manager.
